How can I pay?
At Coolblue, you pay online or in the store.
Online
Online, you can pay with:
- iDEAL
- Credit card (Visa or Mastercard)
- Apple Pay
- Coolblue gift cards
- VVV gift cards (exchange them first via the VVV gift cards website)
- DE cadeaukaarten
- Or select "Pay in the store" when you're going to pick up your order in one of our stores.
In the store
In the store, you pay with:
- Your debit card
- Credit card (Visa of Mastercard)
- Cash
- Apple Pay
- Coolblue gift cards
- VVV gift cards (exchange them first via the VVV gift cards website)
- DE cadeaukaart
You can't pay your order in installments or at your door in case of delivery.
Can I pay my order afterwards?
No, you can't pay with Klarna, Riverty, or another provider of "afterwards payment". You can defer your payment by paying with your credit card. That's because it will be debited at a later time.
Can I pay in installments?
No, you can't pay in installments at Coolblue.
Can I pay with cash?
Yes, you can pay with cash in our stores. Reserve a product online and choose 'pay in the store' or visit us to place your order.
How soon will I be refunded after a return?
As soon as we've processed your return, we'll refund you within 5 working days. The time it takes for a refund to appear on your bank account depends on the payment method.
You might get your money back in several installments. This can be due to two things
- You've paid for your order with a gift card or voucher, either completely or partially. You'll get refunded with shop credit.
- You've exchanged a product for a different one. In that case, we'll refund the purchase value of the first product to the payment method you used to pay the first time. Did you pay an additional amount for the replacement product? You'll be refunded that amount separately.
- You've returned multiple products. One product might be processed earlier than an other product. This can mean that you've got your money back from one product, but not from an other. In this case, we want to ask you to have some patience.
Did you pay with cash? In our stores, we refund an amount up to € 50 in cash. We'll refund any amount above € 50 to your bank account.
Can I redeem a VVV gift card at Coolblue?
Before you can use your VVV gift card at Coolblue, you need to convert it into a Coolblue gift card. Follow the steps on the VVV Cadeaukaarten website.
Where can I find my invoice?
As soon as we've shipped your order, we'll send you the invoice via email as an attachment to your shipping confirmation. You can also download your invoices in your order overview by clicking on your order in My Coolblue. Did you just place the order? Wait until your order has been shipped. After that, you'll receive the invoice in the shipping confirmation.

Why haven't I received an email with an order confirmation yet?
Sometimes, the email ends up in your spambox. If it's not in there, the email was delayed or your payment didn't go through. Check if money was deducted from your bank account or if there's a reserved amount on your credit card.
- Was money deducted from your bank account? If it's busy, it's possible we'll send the confirmation later. We ask you to wait for an hour. Still haven't received a confirmation after this? Contact our customer service.
- Was no money deducted? In that case, the payment failed. You can place your order again. We don't process orders without a successful payment, so you don't have to worry about receiving 2 orders.
