- Tip 3: turn on the Low Power Mode

- Tip 5: Turn on automatic brightness
Tip 1: check which apps drain your battery
If you know which apps use a lot of your battery, you can turn some settings on or off. You first check which apps use the most of your battery.
1: open 'Settings' on your iPhone 2: tap 'Battery' 3: scroll down. Here, you can see which apps drain your battery. You can use these apps less, or you can turn off the background activity.
Tip 2: turn off the background activity of your apps
Your iPhone uses a lot of its battery to constantly refresh for information. If you turn that off, you improve the battery life. You can turn on background activity as follows:
1: open 'Settings' on your iPhone 2: scroll down and tap the app which drains battery. Turn off the slider at 'Background App Refresh'
Tip 3: turn on the Low Power Mode
Is your battery almost empty? You can turn on the Low Power Mode. This mode automatically reduces the background activity, so you save battery power.
1: open 'Settings' on your iPhone 2: tap 'Battery' 3: turn on the slider at 'Low Power Mode'
Tip 4: turn off location services
You need 'Location Services' for some apps. Think of Maps, for example. The function does require a lot of battery power. If you want to save power, you can turn this off.
1: open 'Settings' on your iPhone. Tap 'Privacy' 2: choose for 'Location Services' 3: turn off the slider at 'Location Services. Tap 'Turn Off'
Tip 5: turn on automatic brightness
A bright screen requires a lot of power. You can save battery power if you turn on automatic brightness. Your iPhone will adjust the brightness by itself. That way, the screen is brighter in a lot of ambient light, and less bright when it's dark.
1: open 'Settings' on your iPhone 2: tap 'Accessibility' 3: choose 'Display & Text Size' 4: scroll down and turn on the slider at 'Auto-Brightness'
