With a ceramic stove, there are electric heating elements under the glass bed. These heating elements give off heat and heat the cooktop and the pans. A ceramic stove is more affordable than an induction or gas stove. Please note: before buying a ceramic stove in The Netherlands, first check whether the stove can be connected in your kitchen. Check whether the stove requires a 2 or 3-phase power supply. You can find this on the product page. It's very important to check this properly, because the connector and requirements differ per number of phases.
