How does Coolblue Energy connect the cables of solar panels?
Mount the inverter
On the day of installation, we'll install the inverter in your house. An inverter will convert generated power from the solar panels to usable power for your appliances. We'll mount this inverter to a sturdy wall, often in the attic. That way, the inverter will have enough ventilation and you won't be bothered by it in your bedroom or study. Does your solar roof have micro inverters? We'll mount these behind the solar panels on the roof right away.
Cables from the solar panels to the inverter
We'll connect your solar panels to the inverter. We'll use DC cables for this, which we prefer to pull from outside to inside. We try to do this with current ventilation pipes and holes. Isn't this possible? We'll pull a cable over the edge of the roof and make sure it goes inside via the facade.
Cables from the inverter to the fuse box
We use AC cables between the inverter and the fuse box. We do this via a current pipe or central crease that already has cables run through. If we can't do it that way, we'll create a new pipe. Isn't this possible either? We'll install the cable route outdoors via the facade. We'll make sure to seal the holes, so you won't get moisture or dirt in your fuse box.
We're happy to help you
We'll discuss the cable route for your solar roof via phone. That way, you'll be prepared for the day of installation and know which adjustments we'll make. Thanks to this, you don't have to worry about anything.
