- Adjustments to the fuse box
- Completion and monitoring
Prepare setup
Before we plan the installation day, we'll call you and go through the installation together. For example, we'll talk about the technical details of your fuse box and how we install the cable route in your home. We'll also answer all your questions. At the end of the call, we'll plan a date for the installation.
We'll come by
As soon as the installers are on their way, they'll call you. That way, you know at what time they'll approximately arrive. We usually come with 2 or 3 installers. We'll park as close to your house as possible, so we can easily reach our supplies. So it's useful when you keep the front garden or driveway free as much as possible. This way, we can soon start placing your solar roof.
Install security
We start by building up all safety measures. If necessary, we place a scaffold or a ladder. That way, we can easily reach your roof. Once this is in place, we go onto the roof.
Installing solar panels
We secure the solar panels with roof hooks and rails. First, we place roof hooks over the laths of your roof tiles. We then attach the rails on which we place the solar panels. Finally, we prepare the cables for the inverter. Do you have a flat roof? We first place the substructure, which we then reinforce safely. After, we attach the solar panels. This way, they remain firmly in place.
Mount the inverter
We install the inverter as close to your solar panels as possible. This is often in the attic. This way, you don't have to worry about lost solar power. We then connect the inverter to your solar panels. Do you have micro inverters with your solar roof? We then install these behind the solar panels on your roof.
Adjustments in your fuse box
We run a cable from the inverter to your fuse box. This way, the energy generated from your solar panels goes to the fuse box. We use an empty circuit in your fuse box for this. This prevents short circuits in other circuits. We prepare the distribution board for you or replace it right away. InstallQ has granted us the right to seal it. Once everything is connected, we check whether everything works well.
Completion and monitoring
As soon as the installation is complete, we discuss everything with you. Is the installation clear and are you completely satisfied? We'll sign the delivery report together. Our experts at the office will check this report and forward it to you via email. We carefully break down our safety, pack our things, and leave with our bus.
Later, you'll receive the login information for monitoring the yield of your solar panels. We check for 5 days whether your solar panels deliver what we expected in advance. As soon as everything works well, we'll send you the invoice for the installation. Now, you're officially the owner of your own solar roof!
