Where can I find my CoolblueCredit?

You'll find the credit within 4 months after you start using our energy services on your personal Coolblue account, under Discounts. When you check out a product, the credit in your shopping cart is deducted automatically.

Can the rates of my fixed contract increase?

No, your rates can't increase. With a fixed contrast, you fixed the rates for a specific period.

When do you start the energy supply?

You can find the start date in your contract. We'll start supplying at least 24 days after your registration.

Can I change the start date of my Coolblue Energy contract?

Yes, this is possible if the date is at least 24 days after your registration. But make sure that the start date always starts after your old contract expires. This way, you'll avoid a ticket from your old energy supplier.

Can I still cancel my contract?

Yes! You can cancel your energy contract free of charge within 14 days after you've received the confirmation. Please call our customer service for this on number 088 888 04 03. Available on working days from 8:00 to 20:00.

I have solar panels, can I use net-metering?

Absolutely! You can net-meter all electricity that you generate and that falls within your annual consumption. That means that you get paid the same amount for your electricity that you pay us, as long as this is less than what you consume on a yearly basis. Do you generate more? No problem. We'll offer you a feed-in tariff for that part, which you can find in your contract. More information.

What does the increase in energy prices mean if I have a flexible contract?

Normally, your rates increase twice a year, in January and in July. In exceptional situations, this happens more often. Like now, in October.

How is my installment amount calculated?

We estimate of your annual consumption together and divide it by 12 months. That's your installment amount. On the annual statement, we'll settle the installment amount and your actual consumption. That's why you can also call the installment amount an advance.

How do I use my gift credit at Coolblue?

When you log in to your account and proceed to the checkout, the discount will automatically be deducted in your shopping cart. You can also find your credit under Personal discounts. You don't have to use the credit in one go. It's valid for 12 months.

Can I change my contract to a 3-year contract (without a fine)?

We understand that you want you want security in the current market. Unfortunately, we can't break and extend your contract. Is your contract expire 90 days? You can already extend it with the promotional price. You'll receive an email from us about this.

When do I pay my first installment amount?

At Coolblue Energy, you pay in advance. That means you pay your first installment amount before we start delivering. The amount may differ slightly from your regular installment amount because it can cover a period of time longer than a month. You'll receive an iDEAL payment request via email for your first invoice quickly. Pay before 3 working days before the start of your contract.

Why does my old supplier still approach me when I've already signed a contract with you?

We can confirm your switch to your old supplier once your new contract with us starts. That's why you can still receive an offer from your old supplier until then. This doesn't mean you can accept this offer free of charge. If your 14-day return window already expired, costs are involved.
