I purchased the monitor during a sale. After connecting my MacStudio via the Thunderbolt 4/USB-C connection and after screen calibration, I was able to enjoy the benefits of a 5k screen. My desktop makes good use of a 200% scaling of 2560x1440 screen surface, so that the pixels of the fonts appear very sharp. A 5k screen means that you have more windows and/or window width available. Very pleasant to work with. The maximum 60hz refresh is fine for administrative office work. However, it was a close call whether or not to keep the monitor, and that has to do with connecting a Macbook Air laptop via my work. To connect 2 Macs, you also have to use the MiniDisplay port. Finding a suitable cable took a lot of time and investment. In the end, the cable: "Club 3D CAC-1561 USB Type-C to MiniDisplayPort™ 2.1" provided the solution to support at least 5k video resolution including audio. Samsung would have been better off supporting the DisplayPort or an HDMI port. Also, not every cable supports bidirectional coupling or the 1.4 or 2.1 displayport specification. Once you have connected the monitor and it works? Fine, don't touch it any further -) the screen is actually level and wobbly. I find the user interface, such as simple switching between inputs, dull. It is a monitor and operating it takes priority over all those fancy Samsung TV and similar streaming services that I don't do anything with anyway, I already have an Apple TV for that.
