The PocketBook InkPad Color 3 has been in my possession for 2 1/2 months now. The choice for the color version instead of the black/white version was in fact pure curiosity about an e-reader with color display, despite the fact that I only read regular books on the e-reader.

In practice, the PocketBook turns out to be a good e-reader with a pleasant screen and good battery life, although some comments should be made regarding the settings. I got the best result with: -brightness at 50%. -smartlight on “auto” -automatic switch off after 20 minutes. -wifi off.

Browsing is best done via the two buttons at the bottom of the e-reader. Furthermore, the software is so extensive that many settings are possible.

I download new books on my computer and from there the book is copied to the e-reader. No problems. I do not use the purchase of books directly via the e-reader, so I have no experience with that.

No downsides? One downside is that the e-reader occasionally crashes. However, it is quickly fixed, but remains annoying. Should be able to be solved with a software update.
