The LG UltraGear OLED 45GR95QE-B is a next level ultrawide curved gaming monitor that gives you a unique experience. You can see everything clearly from every viewing angle on the 45-inch curved screen. In addition, you can enjoy smooth gameplay due to the high refresh rate and low response time. This way you will experience a unique experience with every genre. To test the monitor, I mainly focused on the graphics, refresh rate, the OLED panel and the ultrawide screen.
Combines smooth image with sharp graphics
Thanks to the WQHD 3,440 x 1,440 resolution, you can game with sharp images that also appear smoothly on your screen. This monitor has a refresh rate of 240Hz, so you can also get started with this LG UltraGear as an e-athlete. Whether in first person or third person mode, your images move lifelike. Make sure you stop in time in first person mode. The large screen and the smooth images make it look very intense.
Pixels light up depending
This monitor has an OLED panel, which means that each individual pixel lights up itself. This is the big difference with an LCD screen, where the entire back has a light plate. I started an OLED test video, in which the black images came out extra well. When the video loaded a new photo, the blacks moved much more naturally than on any other non-OLED monitor. When you work with a lot of black images, for example with photography, this is extremely useful during editing. Or when you play a lot of dark games, such as Dead Space or Halo.
Playful experience
The most unique aspect is the curved screen. Due to the curvature, the monitor curls around your field of view, as it were. This makes it seem like you're in the middle of the action and you experience everything even more intensely. As with the resolution and refresh rate, we do not recommend this if you are sensitive to fast movements. In first person mode this is quite intense, in third person mode less so.
Big overview
Whether you're gaming, watching movies in ultrawide, or using the monitor for work, you'll enjoy a large overview. For example, I opened no less than 4 tabs next to each other, without losing focus. For example, start Photoshop and put your media library next to it. Enough combinations to think about.
