I bought this laptop at the reduced price of €599. It was therefore one of the few laptops I could find within my budget with these specifications. I received the laptop and tried it out for a week before taking it to a Coolblue because something seemed to be wrong. It was blowing constantly and the battery was draining way too fast. The laptop seemed to be working way too hard for the activities I was performing on it (browsing the web, watching a YouTube video here and there, word processing). The Coolblue employee agreed that something was wrong, and I was able to come by again the next day to exchange the laptop.

The second laptop seems to be fine inside (also blows less than the first, except during charging or activities like Skype, then it sometimes sounds like an airplane!) but unfortunately it came with two "pressure marks" on the screen; small white spots that are in the screen because, probably from the factory, too much pressure has been exerted on it. In addition, the battery life of the new laptop is also terrible. It's better than the +/- 4 hours I got from the first laptop, but getting 5 hours with this one is also special. So it's probably just in the model. I did not expect the 11.5 hours from the specifications, but at least 7 hours (especially with the light tasks I perform) would have been nice. Very sorry everyone. Finally, I have to turn up the brightness of the screen quite high to see everything properly during the day, which is of course an extra shame because the battery life is already not great (not that saving the battery seems to help much). An additional downside is that this is my first experience with Windows 11, and unfortunately I don't like the operating system. Of course that is subjective and a downgrade should in principle be possible.

The laptop does have some pluses, but the downsides mean that I unfortunately cannot recommend it. Personally, I didn't have the time or energy to look for another laptop since I needed it urgently, but look a little further if you can and consider changing your budget or wishes for specifications. Sometimes something really seems too good to be true!

The service in the Coolblue store was excellent though.
