The Drone Pilot Basic is a minimum mandatory online course for the European recognized drone license in the higher risk category A1/A3 and A2. This category includes drones between 500g and 2kg, including the DJI Mavic Air 2, Mavic 2 Pro, and Mavic 2 Zoom. With a voucher code, you'll have access to the learning platform. On this platform, you learn how to safely fly with your drone through pictures, videos, texts, and practice questions. In addition to topics as air traffic safety, privacy, insurance, and flight principles, this course also covers meteorology and operational procedures. At the end of the course, you'll take 2 online exams. The first exam consists of 40 questions and covers all the basic topics. The second exam consists of 30 questions and is required if you want to fly heavier drones in built-up areas. If you passed the exam, you can request a European recognized drone license.
