According to our monitor expert
The Asus ROG Swift 360Hz PG259QN is a 25-inch gaming monitor with a refresh rate of 360Hz. As an avid gamer, you already know that this means the screen refreshes 360 times per second. That way, the images are smooth and you have a better chance to win. Game in Full HD to reach the maximum number of frames. The G-Sync will ensure that your fps and Hz are perfectly synchronized. With the fps counter, you can monitor the number of frames continuously. Thanks to the 1ms GTG response time, the monitor reacts to your actions fast and it reduces ghosting. The IPS panel, 10-bit color depth, and HDR10 ensure that you game with true-to-nature colors. The PG259QN has a sleek design with RGB LED lighting on the back. This monitor can be adjusted in any way, for a comfortable posture.

Needs little/no tweaking to get the most out of colors. Been using it for about a week now, and wouldn't be able to go back to my BenQ xl25646 (240hz tn). Was skeptical if this monitor would be "fast enough" with its IPS panel, but it blows BenQ's Dyac out of the blue. Even with very fast movements I see more detail than on my previous monitor. Ghosting isn't really visible, especially when you're actually playing. Top monitor for those who expect a lot in FPS games.

Sent my unit back in person. At first I wanted to experience what it was like to play 360hz. In my opinion the difference is very minimal. I found objects that were supposed to be black dark gray and dark areas remained way too dark even with the strongest dark boost. My unit also suffered from flickering both hdmi ps and dp on the pc. I don't think it's necessary to pay +- €300 extra for 120hz. If you are a real pro gamer then it might be worth it. Even as a semi-pro/bubble player I would rather go for a higher resolution and keep playing at 240hz. (those monitors are coming at the time of writing).
