The AOC CQ27G2U/BK allows you to play games in QHD. Images on this 27-inch gaming monitor are 2 times sharper than on the 27G2U/BK, so you'll see every detail. The 'C' in the name stands for curved. Because the screen is curved and virtually bezel-less, you'll have less distractions while gaming. The 144Hz refresh rate means you can smoothly play all your games, provided that your your video card can handle the number of fps. The 1ms response time prevents ghosting. As a result, you'll always be that much faster than your opponent. You can configure FreeSync to match the refresh rate to the number of fps produced by your video card. This helps you prevent image stutter. You can tilt and rotate the monitor and adjust its height for a comfortable posture. The integrated speakers allow you to play sounds from games.
Note: for QHD gaming, you need a powerful video card, such as an NVIDIA GeForce RTX GPU or AMD Radeon RX 5000 series GPU, an Xbox One, Xbox Series X or S, or a PlayStation 5.

Saw this one in a Linus Tech Tips video and therefore gave the unknown AOC a chance. So far top image quality and great for gaming. The adjustable leg is a plus, although it will go on an arm soon and it can be turned 90 degrees which is nice with text editing

Easy to install, but takes up a lot of space in depth. Would have been nicer if the monitor had been a little bit more back. So you need a fairly deep desk so as not to sit too close to the screen. Also compatible with G-sync if you have an Nvidia GPU. Cons: No cable supplied for the USB hub in the display. For this, a USB-B connector is provided in the screen, which people will often not have lying around. This is also not specified anywhere in the manual or on Coolblue (the manual mentions a "USB-PC upstream port", whatever that may be) Manual is not clear enough about these USB ports (Coolblue is already doing better). The manual talks about "USB 3.2 Gen 1" ports, but doesn't specify which standard. Here on Coolblue it is correctly stated that these are USB-A ports. Cable that goes from the screen to the power supply is rather short, which makes cable management more difficult.

The product is great. It is a bright screen, sharp and wide viewing angle. In addition, it is easily adjustable in height. The only downsides are that there is no standard power cable and the adapter cord is relatively short. In addition, the hole for the cable management is quite high on the stand.
