How do I request a charging station via Coolblue?

    You'll receive a quote that you can't refuse. After approval, we ask for a number of photos so we can prepare.

    We'll prepare your fuse box and install the charging station. We won't leave until everything works 100%.

Is Coolblue my only contact person during the entire process?

Of course. There are no external parties involved in our process. From purchase to installation and afterwards, Coolblue is the party you can go to with all your questions.

How fast can I charge my car via a charging station?

You can calculate this with a simple calculation. Divide the capacity of the battery by the capacity of the charging station.

Example
Let's say your car has a capacity of 55 kWh. Then it takes about 5 hours (55 kWh / 11 kW = 5 h) before a completely empty battery is fully charged again. Your fuse box must have the capacity to charge 11 kW. A 1-phase fuse box can generally supply up to 3.7 kW per group. For 11 kW charging you need a 3-phase fuse box.

How long is the warranty on my charging station?

You always get a 2-year installation warranty from us.

What does load balancing mean?

Load balancing is a form of smart charging. The charging capacity of the charging station adjusts automatically to the available amount of power. The charging station makes smart use of the available power in your home. Do you do laundry at home or is there lasagna in the oven? The charging speed decreases. Is your laundry clean and the lasagna ready? Your car charges faster again.

How do I get insight into my charging sessions and invoices?

With your first monthly invoice via email, you get access to a new online charging environment. In this environment, you gain insight into your charging sessions and invoices as you're used to.

Insight into your charging sessions and invoices is only possible if you have a personal or business charging station package.

Is it possible to change the charging rate for guest use of my charging station?

No, that's not possible. The guest always pays € 0,41 per kWh and a starting rate of € 0,15. As the owner, € 0,40 per kWh of that amount will be reimbursed to you. The remaining € 0,01 per kWh and the starting rate of € 0,15 are deducted as transaction costs.
