What's the warranty on the Apple iPhone?
What's covered by the warranty?
Isn't it your fault that your iPhone won't turn on anymore? Or isn't the device charging properly anymore? This is probably caused by a manufacturer error and covered by the warranty. This does need to be within 2 years after purchase. The first year, you can go to both Apple and Coolblue. The second year, you can only go to Coolblue. The warranty on a refurbished iPhone is 2 years as well, but this is all at Coolblue.
What isn't covered by the warranty?
All problems with your iPhone that aren't caused by manufacturing errors aren't covered by the warranty. For example, a broken screen, because you've dropped the device. Doesn't your device work (properly) anymore after the replacement of your battery with a non-original Apple one? This also isn't covered by the warranty. In case a problem isn't covered by the warranty, we're still happy to help you. Just keep in mind that costs may be involved with these repairs.
Extra warranty with AppleCare+
Do you want a more extensive warranty? Choose AppleCare+. You can get this with Apple, not with us. You'll have to do this within 60 days after purchasing your new iPhone. The costs differ per device. With AppleCare+, you'll just pay a deductible if you break your screen and you'll get a new battery if your battery conditions is below 80% after 2 years, for example. If you have AppleCare+, you won't have to pay anything with us either if the defect is covered by the more extensive warranty.
Note: AppleCare+ for the iPhone isn't available in Belgium. Besides, the refurbished iPhone is excluded from AppleCare+.
