How do you clean your induction stove?
Clean induction cooktop in 3 steps
You can clean your induction cooktop in the following 3 steps:
- Step 1. Remove caked food rests
- Step 2. Use soapy water
- Step 3. Clean the oven
Step 1: remove caked-on food rests
To prevent stains and rings, remove caked rests right after cooking. Did something get left behind? Don't use a cooktop scraper to remove the rests. This way, you can also scratch your induction cooktop. With some warm water and dish soap, you can loosen the rests. Don't use lemon in your soap. The acid can damage the cooktop.
Step 2: use soapy water
Use a soft cloth to clean your cooktop. This way, you prevent scratches and other damages. For this reason, we don't recommend abrasive sponges. Make some soapy water with dish soap and water to clean the cooktop of the stove. When everything is clean, you can go over everything again with a damp cloth with just some water. This way, you avoid streaks.
Step 3: clean the oven
Don't you want to lose too much time with cleaning your oven? Spray some oven cleaner in the interior. If you don't have that, you can also easily clean the oven with some soapy water. Pour some one the bottom of your oven. Then, turn the oven to 60°C for an hour, or the lowest setting your oven has. For a refreshing odor in your oven, put some lemon in the water. Turn the oven to a higher setting for 15 minutes.
