How do you clean your gas stove?
Clean your gas stove in 3 steps
Go through the following steps to clean your gas stove.
Step 1: remove caked food rests. Step 2: clean the burners and pan supports. Step 3: clean the oven.
Step 1: remove caked-on food rests
You should always remove caked-on food residue right away when you're cooking. The longer you leave it, the more difficult it becomes to clean. Did you leave it for some time? Soak it with warm water and dish soap.
Step 2: clean the burners and pan supports
After that, you should clean the pan supports. Are they made of plastic or enamel? Put them in the dishwasher. Cast iron pan supports aren't dishwasher-safe, so you have to clean them by hand with warm water and dish soap. Remove the burners once every 3 months and clean them with warm water. Are they very dirty? Use some dish soap as well. You can rinse the aluminum rings under the burners under the faucet. Don't use dish soap to clean those, because they'll discolor.
Step 3: clean the oven
The easiest way to clean your oven is with an oven cleaner. Don't have any? Pour some water on the bottom of the oven and add some dish soap. Turn on the oven for 1 hour at 60°C. Or, put in an oven dish with water and lemon. If you do that, turn on the oven for 15 minutes at the highest setting. You'll be able to wipe away the dirt easily and your oven will smell fresh again.
