Building in your new microwave isn't a hard job at all. With our step-by-step plan, you'll have your old microwave oven out in no time and your new one in place. Because a built-in microwave oven can be quite heavy, we always recommend to do the assembly and disassembly with 2 people. This prevents you from hurting yourself on the sharp edges and leaves your hand free for the connector.
Problems with your microwave
You can have several problems with your microwave. Sometimes, it'll just turn off or cause a short circuit. This is annoying, but your microwave usually isn't broken. Don't remove the cardboard plate
There's a cover plate on the inside of your microwave that looks like a cardboard sheet. Although it looks like packaging material, this so-called mica plate shouldn't be removed. The plate protects the microwave oven from short circuits and fire hazards. Is the plate damaged or did you remove it by accident? Don't use the microwave, because moisture can reach the waveguide.
