Get started with your gas stove
We'll explain how to get the most out of your new stove in 3 steps.
- Step 1. Purchase the right gas connector.
- Step 2. Connect your gas stove.
- Step 3. Recognize the oven symbols
1. Purchase the right gas connector
Stoves are made for the European market. Dutch gas hoses are larger, so they don't connect to a gas stove properly. You need a gas connector in order for your hose to fit. This is included with the gas hose you purchase at Coolblue or the hardware store.
2. Connect your gas stove
It's not difficult to connect your gas stove, as long as you have everything you need and some knowledge. Do you have 2 left hands? You could always have a professional come by to install the gas stove for you
3. Recognize the oven symbols
The different functions of the oven are indicated with symbols. These may differ per brand, but they mostly look the same. If you know what each symbol means, you can provide your chicken with a crispy crust, bake your baguette golden brown, or melt the cheese on your pizza.
