Everything on healthy living
Cook healthy
In a steam oven, you can prepare vegetables, meat, and fish with steam. This is healthier, because you don't use any oil or butter. Thanks to the steam, you asparagus, salmon, and broccoli retain their flavor and vitamins. Do you still crave a snack every now and then? You can prepare these in a healthier way with an airfryer. Since it uses hot air instead of oil, your snacks taste just as good, but they're less greasy. You can also make baked potatoes or broccoli quickly and easily in an airfryer.
Cook healthy and quickly
A stand mixer or food processor can help you make a healthy meal. You can chop vegetables much faster. A food processor is a small kitchen machine with its own mixing bowl. Thanks to the sharp blades, it's suitable for chopping, cutting, and grating nuts, fruits, and vegetables. That way, you can easily grate carrots for a carrot salad. With a stand mixer, you can prepare dough or batter for whole-wheat pancakes or banana bread.
Healthy drinks and soups
Homemade smoothies and juices are nearly always healthier than the drinks you buy at the store. That's a good reason to do it yourself. With an immersion blender or regular blender, you can turn your leftover broccoli into a soup and your overly ripe bananas and pears into a smoothie. Make your own pesto from a couple of ingredients and prepare dough for banana pancakes in no time. You can use a juicer or slow juicer to make your own healthy juices.
Health watch
Do you want to keep track of your efforts? A health watch like a Fitbit, smartwatch, or activity tracker keeps track of your steps, distance traveled, and calories burned. This gives you insight into your activities during the day. Do you like to go for runs or walks? A watch with a built-in GPS tracks your route. Do you want to measure your workouts specifically? In that case, a sports watch is a good choice for you.
Scales and monitors
Everyone uses a scale every now and then, but certain scales also measure your body fat percentage or muscle mass. That way, you can measure your athletic progress specifically or monitor your weight-loss goals. Blood pressure monitors and saturation monitors give you insight into your blood pressure and oxygen level.
Work from home in a healthy way
If you always work sitting down and with a bad posture, you'll attract physical complaints. Especially if you don't get a lot of exercise either. It's important to be aware of this. Switch between sitting down and standing up. You can do so with a sit-stand desk or a sit-stand workstation, for example. A sit-stand mat or wrist rest can also help you work with an ergonomic posture.
