I was looking for a new 24" screen to use next to my old 24" screen, where I can work in the "extended screen/extended screen" mode, preferably on both screens with the laptop closed. It turned out to be possible for my work laptop from 2021, because the video card of my work laptop sends an image signal to the USB-C port and supports MST (multi stream transport).
