LG GBB61MCGCN1 DoorCooling

The LG GBB61MCGCN1 has quite a few gadgets to keep my groceries fresh for longer. Thanks to its brushed steel-look housing, the refrigerator also looks great in an open kitchen. I would have liked the cooling compartment to be a bit larger.

Fresh zones
When you open the door, the 2 fresh zones immediately catch the eye. These fresh zones take up quite a bit of space, but they promise to keep meat, fish and vegetables fresh for longer. With a slider I can easily choose which food I put in here. Because I just bought fresh salmon, I choose the Fish stand. This changes the temperature and humidity, so my 2 fresh salmon steaks don't dry out. I use the top drawer for all my fruit. For my other groceries I use the 3 shelves and 3 door compartments.

By Cooling
We love to cook and bake at home. Because of this, I regularly open the refrigerator door. This refrigerator has DoorCooling to prevent temperature fluctuations. Cold air flows down through air holes in the back and top. This way my groceries don't heat up if we want to grab something from the fridge several times during cooking. With all its air holes, this DoorCooling also ensures that it is equally cold everywhere in the refrigerator. So it doesn't matter where I put my specialty cheese and fresh jam.

Extra freezer space
I always make too much food. That's why it's nice that I have enough space in the Big Freezing Zone. Because of this I always have food in the house and I don't throw anything away. I also have enough space for frozen pizzas here. Even with 7 pizza boxes, I still have enough space in this drawer for my 2 frozen meals. I use the bottom and top freezer drawer for frozen vegetables, ice cream and bake-off croissants.

Low noise
I notice that I hardly hear the refrigerator. Not even if I've had the fridge door open to put groceries in. My home workplace is next to the kitchen, so this low noise level is very pleasant for me. I can't even hear the fridge during online video meetings or quiet moments in my favorite series.

Low energy consumption
What also strikes me is that this fridge with energy class C is quite economical. This means that the energy consumption of this fridge freezer combination is relatively low. This helps me lower my energy costs.

Very good combination fridge-freezer. Special two drawers to keep either your meats, chicken or fish chilled and moist. And a drawer to keep your lettuce crispy, for example. Works great. Furthermore, a very economical device and whisper quiet. The rapid cooling function also works excellently. My previous combination had larger outer dimensions, but this combination, which is slightly smaller, can accommodate more. In short, I have never had such a practical, economical and whisper-quiet device before. Very satisfied.
