Duux Edge Smart Convector 1500W Gray Duo Pack

Premium Dutch brand with (I think) beautiful finish. Well packaged with a clear manual.
Included in the package is a small plastic remote control that is easy to operate.
What is useful is the smart function. You download the Duux app and your Smart convector heater is quickly recognized. If you have multiple Duux devices, you can easily switch between them.
You can program a (weekly) program via the remote control or stove, but not via the app.
Keeping an eye on the temperature and switching the stove on and off is ideal indoors and outdoors and is easy via the app. The built-in thermostat is also very handy.
We mainly use it in the attic. Here it is normally very cold with an open staircase. Surface +/- 30m2. It is striking that the room becomes and remains pleasantly warm within a short time, without noise.

The display on the stove is illuminated, unfortunately the buttons are not. The lighting with temperature indication can be switched off if you find that annoying at night. The stove also has a child lock.

The Duux website states 'perfect for the bathroom due to ip24 qualification'.
In the manual I read: 'Never use the product in a humid environment'.
This seems a bit contradictory to me. Not a problem for us, maybe for you...
Cord is not very long, 150cm and is officially not allowed in an extension cord.
The stove stands firmly on the supplied legs, but can also be hung with the supplied wall bracket.

In summary, a wonderful stove with great possibilities!

Received Edge yesterday. It's a beautiful device! I chose 1500W myself, because that is sufficient in my attic. 2000W has more power in the same housing.

Had a schedule set through the app that the device turns on in the morning and I start working in a warm room.

The stove was delivered quickly and neatly and has been in the house for about a week now. Initially I wanted to use the heater to heat my (closed) patio cover, but unfortunately this is not possible. I can't get it warmer than 13 degrees in the room, so it can't be used in a poorly insulated room. The stove was then tested in the hall, bedroom and attic and the stove performs well there. The stove heats up very quickly, so does the environment. A remote control is included but I have used the DUUX App from the start. I have found this to be user-friendly. Set the temperature and the stove starts heating and when the desired temperature is reached, the stove switches off automatically. There are also program options to set everything to your liking. I think the design is nice and modern. The stove can be hung with a bracket or placed on the floor with the supplied feet. Of course, the question remains what the electricity costs are if the stove is switched on for a longer period of time. The cord is short, but this is probably due to safety regulations. Fortunately also a Dutch manual. All in all a nice product with excellent functionalities!
