Description

You can read your favorite books anywhere with the PocketBook Basic Lux 4. This compact and light e-reader has a 6-inch screen, so you can easily take it with you. That's useful for reading in public transport, for example. Thanks to the backlight, you can also read books at night when it's dark. You don't have to keep your nightlight on this way. You control this e-reader with the touchscreen or the 3 buttons on the bottom of the screen. You can't listen to audio files with this e-reader. Like listening to audiobooks? Choose an e-reader with Bluetooth connectivity and speakers. Store your favorite books on the 8GB storage. Is you storage full? Expand it with a memory card. A charger isn't included. Order it separately and charge your e-reader right away.

Basic e-reader without frills that does what it's supposed t

I wanted a simple e-reader that I can simply put books on via the PC, with lighting in case there is not enough ambient light. I didn't need extras like buying books online or listening to audiobooks. This basic e-reader works fine. Nice clear image, easy to put books on. The lighting works but I haven't needed it yet, so I can't say much about that. The downside I think is that the e-reader is quite slow. Not when reading, turning pages is quite fast, but it is when you go to the main menu, or look up something in the dictionary, or go to a footnote. The English-English dictionary, the only one I have used so far, is also quite sparse. All in all, a good device for its price that does what it is supposed to do.

It weighs very light and you can take many books with you on your holiday.
