In the spacious Whirlpool W8I HP42 L MaxiSpace I have enough space for all my dirty dishes. Thanks to the SpaceClean rack, I have 3 baskets. The device is quiet and energy efficient, but you cannot shorten the programs.

Removes well-caked residues I usually don't load the dishwasher immediately after dinner. As a result, there are regularly caked-on food remains in my oven dishes. Fortunately, that is not a problem with this dishwasher. With PowerClean Pro I can easily clean my oven dishes. I use the 2 holders at the bottom to place the bowls and plates vertically. This way the powerful jet reaches the caked-on remains. There are a total of 4 different heights with nozzles, so that the dishes in each basket rinse thoroughly clean.

Enough space for large dishes The spacious interior also gives me room for large pizza plates. This also rinses away the remains of the tomato sauce well and I don't wash it by hand. In the top SpaceClean rack I have extra space for small espresso cups, glasses and breakfast bowls. There is a rack on the side for pizza cutters, meat tongs and large knives, for example. I put my small cutlery in the basket in the lower basket.

Also plastic completely dry To save time during the week, I often cook large portions for the freezer. That is why there are several plastic containers in the dishwasher during every dishwashing cycle. These are usually not completely dry when I unload my dishwasher. Fortunately, they are with this Whirlpool dishwasher. The door opens automatically at the end of the program. My dishes dry faster and more energy efficiently due to the cold air in my kitchen. For example, I no longer dry plastic with a tea towel, but I put them straight away in the cupboard.

Nice operation and quiet I operate the dishwasher with push buttons. I personally think that is an advantage, because they always respond well. I use the arrows to switch between the 10 programs. If I have a lot of caked-on dishes, I can easily add PowerClean to the program. I also have the option to set a favorite program. Handy if I usually run an eco program at half load. I turn it on with one push of a button. With the quick program I have clean dishes in 33 minutes. I do miss the option to shorten each program. When the dishwasher is on, I only hear it pumping out the water occasionally. That's nice, because that way I turn it on in the evening while watching a movie.
