Thanks to the E-ink screen, taking notes is nicer for your eyes, because the screen looks like real paper.
The refresh rate of the E-ink screen is lower than that of normal tablets. Because of this, some apps won't be shown as well as others.

Description

You can read your favorite books and take notes for your work or studies with the Boox Nova Air C. The 7.8-inch E-ink screen also displays colors, so books with images really come to life. You can connect wireless headphones and then listen to audiobooks. You can take extensive notes with the Boox stylus in 16 different colors that do your creative ideas or graphics justice. Because the tablet has an E-ink screen, it feels like you're working on a paper notepad. This is nicer for your eyes than, for example, an OLED screen which normal tablets have. The Nova Air C runs on the Android operating software, so you can download all kinds of apps from the Google Play Store.

I am very happy with this device! So far I've mainly used it to take notes and less to actually read books. I had been looking for something similar to a Remarkable for a long time, but with color. You can mark in color in your books, make notes in color, read comics in color ... Be aware that the colors of an E Ink color screen are a bit fader than, for example, on your tablet. The notes you make are in a separate layer. This also allows you to choose to turn off the display of your notes. My previous color screen e-reader was a bit slow to respond. However, the Boox responds very quickly to touch and writing. The thing I'm most excited about is the handwriting recognition. I didn't have high expectations for this, but it works really well!
