Samsung DV90BB7445GES2: smart, fast and economical

This tumble dryer is very spacious, thanks to a 9 kilogram load capacity. I think that's one of the biggest advantages. For example, I dry larger loads of bed linen in one go. In addition, this dryer with energy class A+++ is very economical. So I don't worry about my energy bill. The model has many programs and smart functions that dry my laundry quickly. Setting up the app is a bit tricky, but with patience it will eventually work.

Sleek, new look
The new Samsung Bespoke design of this 7000 series dryer is the first thing that stands out. The machine has a sleek, black digital display. This matches well with the black drum door, which stands out because of the white housing. Except for the knob and the door, the whole machine is nice and flat. This allows me to hide it better in my laundry room. I switch on the dryer with the touch buttons on the display. I immediately notice that the machine is somewhat sensitive to fingerprints, but I wipe this off in a moment.

Fast, smart and great for allergies
I'm curious about the dryer's programs. With the rotary knob I switch smoothly between different programs. For example, I see a 35-minute quick program. One of my favorite programs is AI Dry. This program measures exactly what type of laundry is in the drum and how moist it is. After that, the dryer constantly adjusts the amount of heat, air and time during the program to my clothes. This is nice, because this way I don't have to choose which program I use best. The Hygiene Care program comes in handy in the summer. I suffer from hay fever and this program ensures that the allergens disappear from my clean clothes.

Useful and easy programs
When opening the drum, I immediately see how spacious the machine really is. The dryer has space for a lot of laundry. I don't often dry a large load, but I do need the space when I wash my bedding and towels. When I use the cotton program for a small load of clothes, sensors quickly adjust the program duration from 3 hours to less than 2 hours. When testing I use the SuperSpeed program. The machine indicates that the program is good for 5 kilograms of laundry. The dryer is ready in less than 1.5 hours. The laundry is still slightly damp, but certainly dry enough to fold. Ideal when I'm short on time and want to dry a laundry quickly. With the app on my phone, I can see exactly how long the drying program will last if I'm not around. I get a notification when the laundry is ready. Connecting is a bit difficult, but after a few tries it works.
