Description

Enjoy extra screen space when you work with the LG UltraWide 34WQ60C-B 34-inch ultrawide monitor. The screen has a 21:9 aspect ratio, so you have 33% more screen space. This way, you can open multiple windows next to each other and multitask a lot more easily. For example, open a text file in one window and perform data analysis in the window next to it. You can also watch movies and series in ultrawide settings, while you won't see any large black bars. The HDR10 support in the screen provides extra realistic colors, so in combination with the 99% coverage within the sRGB color space, your movies look even better. Do you want to edit photos? Thanks to QHD resolution, details look even better. That's because it's 2 times sharper than Full HD, so you don't lose a lot of pixels when you zoom in.

Works fine on a mac

As a Mac user switched from a Thunderbolt screen to this one. Colors may be even better on this screen, I had to turn the brightness down a bit. A tip if you want to control your screen with your mac, download the MonitorControl app. Very convenient now that you only need 1 plug to connect the MacBook to the screen The sound is very bad but maybe I was used to too much from my previous monitor. The stand feels a bit cheap, the screen moves with keystrokes. The finish of the screen is poor, I initially thought it was a protective layer that could be removed, but the screen is simply sloppily finished.

Nice big screen!

  • No downside found yet

This is my first curved monitor, I used to work with 2 separate monitors, but I like this much better. I have only just started using the monitor, but I am very satisfied with it so far.

Very substandard

Colors appear very dull and suffer from a lot of IPS glow or bleed. If you put a wallpaper on a color red, green or blue, you will see enormous color differences. Tested this with my MacBook M2 and Windows, both same results. Then I placed my IIYAMA IPS monitor next to it and it was much better. No idea, maybe it's my copy, but very dissatisfied with this monitor so I returned it. Too bad because otherwise a nice ultrawide screen.
