With this hub, you have enough ports to connect all your devices. For example, you can connect 1 4K monitor, so you have more room for your windows right away. Do you have a weak WiFi signal at your workplace? Make a stable wired connection via the Ethernet port. The Space Gray version matches a MacBook with the same color well. Note: this Satechi hub is only suitable for the Apple MacBook.

Looks good, but gets very hot.

Great design, does get very hot. I also saw this in other reviews. Hopefully the heat won't hurt.... I just can't get the sound through the earphones yet. I can press louder and softer via the earphones, but the music continues to come from the laptop itself.

Quite a few extra ports needed on MacBook Pro. Already had the predecessor in use for in my bag and bought this one to use at home.

Does not connect nicely to the MacBook. Also rather clumsy design and is not really firmly attached but there is easy space.
