I personally think it's a good screen. But just a pity that cool blue you back to your p..je. So to speak black friday at the price that it is for sale today without a discount. Then you think you're getting a bargain, but with the false advertising of first setting the price higher, and then giving a discount.

I have doubted about various monitors. I wanted to connect both an M1 Mac Mini and a gaming PC to it. For the latter, I really wanted a high refresh rate screen. In the end I opted for this Philips. I have to say I am very impressed. The foot + stand (anthracite to almost black) is super robust: it looks like cast iron. That is quite different from the plastic base of my somewhat older LG monitor. Furthermore, the monitor can be rotated and tilted in all possible directions. It is a pity that there is no clear center, so that can be a bit of a mess. I also find the OSD not really useful, the control button is a bit far away and it feels a bit fragile. The image is great. No obvious shortcomings seen so far. The HDR demo that I saw was nowhere near what I am used to from my LG OLED TV, but I certainly did not expect that. Important tip for an M1 Mac: use a UCB-C => Displayport cable (high refresh, e.g. 8K) to get all possible resolutions and refresh rates. I think the only thing that is really bad about the monitor is the sound from the speakers. Well, that's not much different with my LG. For a bit of decent sound you really just need a pair of headphones or a separate speaker (set). But hey, better a functional speaker than nothing at all. All in all I am very happy with my purchase: for the money it is a very good and sleek monitor.

I use the screen for MS Office work (especially Excel), for photo and video editing and browsing. This screen is a perfect solution for this combination: fast with a high resolution, good color depth and very sharp. Also possible to connect 2x Display Port with the maximum resolution, and then 2x HDMI free to use. And last but not least ... nice and big (32"). Slightly more expensive but worth the price (... for me)
