According to our blood pressure monitor expert
You can use the Withings BPM Connect blood pressure monitor to measure your blood pressure at home and monitor your heart rate. The device automatically sends your results to the Health Mate app when your smartphone is connected to WiFi or Bluetooth. This is useful, because now you don't have to think about it yourself. All your previous results are stored in the app, so you can take this clear overview with you to the doctor. Even without a doctor, the results are easy to understand. Color codes are used to tell you whether your blood pressure is healthy or not. If you want to use the BPM Connect with several people, you can create up to 8 user profiles.

Purchased this brand because of good reviews on iCulture, especially for the integration with the Apple Health app. However, the device is not necessarily very user-friendly. There is only 1 button with which you have to control everything. If you use it with several people, selecting the right person will be cumbersome. Also not clearly shown in the manual how to ensure that when used by multiple people, the right person receives the data in the app. As a result, our installation initially went wrong. The solution is that you create 1 account and everyone uses this account/login data (not necessarily useful). If the 2nd person logs in, the app asks who is logging in so that the data is sent to the right person after a meeting. Incidentally, you can view each other's measurements and other data from the health app. I'm quite technical myself, but I think there are some unfortunate choices in the design of the device and the app. If there had already been 1 extra button on the device, that would have helped a lot. Now you are messing around with 1 short press and then again long press to get the right person. If you press too short, you have selected the wrong person again. Annoyingly, you have to select the person AFTER the meeting, so if you selected the wrong person (you can't go back) and you have to run a meeting again. Sometimes produces some aggressive moments. While I won't be returning it because I like nice looking devices, I wouldn't necessarily recommend it. Especially not if you are not really good with devices. If you are only going to use it for yourself and not share it, I would still recommend it. Finally, I expected a travel bag for this price.

Handy and compact blood pressure monitor. Once you understand how the 1-button operation works, the meter is very easy to use. Due to its compact construction and long operation on a battery charge, it is also handy for traveling. Manual could have been a bit clearer with regard to setting up and selecting multiple users.

I already had the scale and scan watch, so a withings blood pressure monitor seemed a nice addition. Device works well as a blood pressure monitor but does give you high blood pressure when figuring out how to assign a reading to a user due to withings' very poor manual. It is possible, but the one-button operation is anything but intuitive. Basically, you have to confirm the measurement with a short press on the button, then with a long press (several times if necessary) to select the correct user, and then a short press again to add the measurement to the selected user. assign user. That is not described in the manual.
