The LaCie Rugged SSD 1TB is a fast portable SSD that can take a beating. Via the USB-C port, you can transfer files at a speed of up to 950MB/s. You transfer a 4K movie of 50GB in less than a minute that way. With 1TB of storage, you have enough space for 100,000 photos of 10MB or 100 movies of 10GB. The robust bumper protects the SSD from splashes, dust, a pressure of up to a ton, and a fall from up to 2m. This is useful when you're traveling or working on a construction site, for example. If something goes wrong with your hard drive within 5 years, Seagate Rescue Service will repair it for you. This way, you won't lose your valuable photos and files. The Rugged also easily fits in your bag or inner pocket. Your data remains protected thanks to data encryption and password protection.

As a content creator of photo, video and music material, you can never have enough storage space. In our mobile society you always want this storage space at your disposal and the LaCie Rugged USB-C SSD 500GB is extremely suitable for this. The drive comes in a bright orange and, above all, sturdy jacket, so that your data is stored safely. You can easily throw the disc in your bag and fish it out just as easily thanks to the bright orange housing. A big plus is that both a USB-C to USB-C cable (in the same bright orange color) and a separate USB-A to USB-C cable (black, which is a shame) are included. No hassle with adapter plugs/cables that are always lost or broken. The orange USB cable is handy to keep the right cable with the right device. In my opinion, the supplied software does not have much added value.
