With the Datacolor SpyderX Pro, you can calibrate the screen of your computer or laptop within 2 to 3 minutes, so the colors on your screen will be true-to-life. The system has a color monitor based on lenses, this makes it suitable for professional photographers and videographers. The ambient light sensor measures the ambient light and adjusts the calibration to this. The system has 12 different calibration settings. With the SpyderProof function, you can compare the colors before and after the calibration in order to refine the settings. When the light changes, the system gives a warning to calibrate again, or to automatically calibrate. You can calibrate multiple screens at once, so you see the same image on every screen.

Very disappointed and that is mainly due to the software. The software is very fast but gives a different outcome every time, I can see that with the naked eye. Fortunately, the sensor also works in DisplayCal (=freeware) which calibrates much better but also much slower. If you do have to use DisplayCal, then you might as well (or better) use another colorimeter. It is incomprehensible that the influencers are so enthusiastic about the SpyderX Pro. (DispayCal takes about 15-20 minutes)

I bought the spyder to calibrate my macbook pro late 2016 and monitor. The software is very easy to install and shows step by step what needs to be done. You can calibrate all your screens with the spyder, a new profile is created for each screen after the calibration. However, you must first indicate what type of backlight your screen has. Examples are given of screens that have this, but it would have been easier if the software itself reads which screen is connected and which profile probably belongs to it. The software goes through the entire calibration process almost automatically. Afterwards, you can clearly see the difference in photo editing, both with the macbook and with the monitor. You can also compare photos before and after calibration so that you can see the effect on your own footage. In my case, the saturation of the image is now better, so you don't overcompensate the photos when editing. I use the software in combination with Affinity Foto as a photo editing program, so the results are now almost professional. Coolblue's second-hand product is also fine, which is a really great invention.
