Logitech G PRO Wireless Gaming Mouse

Are you sitting during the corona, limp and crying behind your PC.. hand broken by your designer mouse. Then I saw this Logitech G pro, hop to the Coolblue store in Haarlem! Very nice clear store, good staff and never stress. Back home quickly, old mouse thrown out the window and installed the new one. Man oh man what a difference, the ergonomics are really great, no more limp hands. Accuracy of I have you there, I'm happy :-)

This mouse features Logitech's new "hero" sensor, it works great, no tracking issues, no mouse pad calibration required. The mouse is very light, which makes fast movements, such as flicks in games, a pleasure. The mouse feet are nice and smooth, you feel almost no friction when moving over the mouse pad (my mouse pad: goliath speed from razer). The left and right mouse buttons feel good, are not loud and heavy. The side buttons do feel mushy, probably because they are also removable. The scroll wheel is of good quality, soft finish, pressing is easy and feels good and the steps of the scroll wheel are soft but clear. No sensor and scroll wheel ratchet on my model. Which is a huge plus for me. The mouse has an ergonomic shape, for my claw and palm grip with a hand size of 18 cm long and 10.5 cm wide, this mouse fits nicely in the hand. Good battery life, about 64 hours with the lights off and 35 hours with the lights on. Take this with a grain of salt because the mouse goes into a sleep mode after it is not used for a while. So it will last a little longer. The cable that is included is sufficiently long and made of rubber, which is a plus for me in terms of maintenance and does not stick to anything. It's on the expensive side but well worth it to me for the reasons I've discussed here. I definitely recommend this mouse for people who are looking for a light, accurate, ergonomic and quality gaming mouse. You can of course also use it for other things ;) but it is aimed at the gamers among us.

It seems very basic for a gaming mouse, no strange ergonomic excesses, and except for the logo that lights up a bit, you will not see that it is a gamer mouse. I think that looks better aesthetically than a mouse on the desk screaming for attention. Thanks to the HERO sensor, it is extremely precise and quick to use. Moving quickly and lifting the mouse didn't look for jumping the mouse pointer, so it is very accurate in that respect as well. You feel where Logitech's R&D has gone into. You will receive a USB cable to which you can connect the wireless dongle so that it lies on your desk, or you can plug it directly into your PC. Normally I wouldn't buy a wireless mouse because I often forget to charge, but that's not a problem with this mouse. In the software you can see what the mouse uses its power for (see image in attachment), if you mute the lighting 1/3rd you still have nice lighting and the battery lasts a long time. A charged mouse for the weekend is often a half-full mouse on Tuesday, and that is perfectly fine, especially since charging is very fast. When you first hold the mouse, it feels a bit 'fragile' as if you feel that it is made of very thin plastic. Now I've been pushing hard in several places, and it's a really sturdy mouse, the plastic doesn't give anything. The buttons on the side are the same, it seems at first sight as if they are 'loose' but there is virtually no play in horizontal or vertical. I don't think you can get a better mouse unless you play RPGs and need more buttons. 100% recommended, and playing with such a light mouse or working in windows is really a relief.
