Russell Hobbs MaxiCook Searing Slowcooker 6L

This pan is a very nice pan for me. I have osteoarthritis, also on my hands, so that the pan is not heavy is a big plus. You can use the aluminum inner pan on the gas to pre-roast your meat. But my experience is that searing is only for the color so it is not necessary. You put all the necessities in the pan turn it on (super easy operation) set your time, say 8 hours for stew, and you know your food is ready 8 hours later. I thought it was a must to have a timer and delayed start time on the pan. I benefit a lot from that. The keep warm function will be practical, but I haven't needed it yet. I am alone and have deliberately chosen this large pan. I just make big batches and freeze them separately. That way I always have something at home when I don't have time to cook. The pan is also extremely well suited for making soup. I deliberately chose this brand and the 6 ltr pan. Most people brag about the crockpot brand. But firstly, that brand is much more expensive and secondly, I hear many people complain that it gets too hot. I spent a month searching the internet for reviews for the right pan and came across this one. Fewest complaints and most satisfied users. The price is in relation to other pans with timer, etc. Very reasonable. I've had this pan for 1 month now and I'm very happy with it. I can really recommend this pan!

I immediately started working with my Russell Hobbs, I make the most delicious meals with it! Spare ribs where the meat falls off, stews, soup, all just as easy. You put the (fresh) ingredients in the pan, set it and you don't have to look after it anymore, ideal on working days and actually just every day, highly recommended!! We are also a family of 5 people, this size pan is ideal for that.

Bought this after I returned the Crock-Pot Slow Cooker 4.7 L due to lack of start delay. Tried it out for the 1st time and have already been able to make very tasty Rendang. Another advantage is that you can first sear the meat on the fire (with the removable pan) and then continue to stew until done. Design is slightly less than Crockpot I personally think, but since it is not fixed on the counter, no deal breaker. I think we're going to have a lot of fun with this.
