The Elgato HD60 S is a game capture with <em>streaming</em> as a special feature.
Unlike the HD60, the HD60 S streams with almost no lag.
Stream or capture in 1080p image quality, in 60 frames per second.
Connect a microphone or headset to add live commentary.
Connect a webcam and put yourself in the spotlight for a larger audience.
Edit the recorded material immediately on your PC using Elgato's software.
The HD60 doesn't require an AC adapter as it gets power directly from the PC.
Just like other game captures, the HD60 S isn't compatible with the PS3.
The HD60 S can record, but it doesn't support H.264-compression.

Description

The Elgato Game Capture HD60 S is not the HD60's successor; it's more like a little brother with its own special streaming feature. It can also record, even in 1080p60, but it's been specifically developed as a streaming device. Unlike the HD60, the Game Capture HD60 S has barely any lag at all when broadcasting your gameplay live. This is thanks to the USB 3.0 connector that's absent in its brother, the Live Streaming feature that allows you to broadcast directly on Twitch and YouTube, and the Stream Command feature, which lets you add a webcam part, overlays, and all kinds of other things.

Note! This game capture works best on a PC with NVIDIA video cards.

For the people who doubt whether they should get the HD60s or the HD60, this is the difference! The HD60s is record of course in HD.... so it takes a lot of space when you record compared to the HD60 which has H.264 compression which means..... it makes a smaller file of your recordings so you don't have to use that much space for your recordings. I calculated it if you record 30 min in HD60s then it is 9.0GB compare to the HD60 it is 8.75GB difference in storage space is about 250MB
