Am happy with it. Only disappointing that speed is much lower. In a few cases is 24 speed, the rest is 4-8 or 10 speed. Thinks that Coolblue should specify this better on the site. That said, I'll keep it anyway. Mainly because I don't burn that much but read more. Laptop player/burner was not always reliable with reading after 6 years. Didn't know of the existence of M-disk, but here you can burn the supplied DVDs. They guarantee storage life for 1000 years. Write once! There are videos about this on youtube. CAUTION: M disc can only be burned on burners that can, due to different type of laser. You can read M discs on other players. TIP, PUT WEDDING PHOTOS OR OTHER IMPORTANT PHOTOS ON THIS M DISK. With regular DVDs, CDs shelf life is said to be 5 years. This 1000 years.

Immediately plug and play at the start, but after one day and importing one music CD into Itunes it is defective. The Zendrive is no longer seen in explorer. Asus indicates to file for warranty. I am in contact with a specialist from Cool Blue. Had chosen ASUS ZenDrive because of many bad reviews about the Verbatim players
