What does the new coalition agreement mean?
The net-metering regulation ends in 2027
In the budgetary appendix of the agreement, it says that you can no longer subtract your generation from your consumption.
In the event that this passes and the net-metering regulation is ended at once in 2027, Coolblue Energy solar panels are still a good idea. If you choose a solar roof now, we provide a 3-year fixed energy contract. That means you're ensured you can earn back your solar panels with low feed-in costs. Request an honest advice advice appointment without obligations now.
The energy tax on gas is going down
In our article about "Your energy bill in 2024", we told you that the energy taxes for gas are going up. In the coalition agreement, it says that they want to turn this back partially. It'll go down with € 0.028 per cubic meter of gas. This saves and average household about € 29 per year. An average household consumes 1050m3 of gas annually.
To keep you informed
Requirement for a heat pump removed in 2026
Is your boiler due for replacement in 2026? You were first obligated to replace it with a heat pump. According to the coalition agreement, this'll no longer be the case.
No subsidies for electric cars in 2025
If you buy or lease a fully electric car now, you're eligible for a subsidy. This subsidy will end in 2025. The discount on the weight correction does stay in place.
Are you in the market for an electric car? It's a good idea to buy or lease it before 2025. Also look into a charging station at your house. With an at-home charging station, you can save up to € 600 compared to public charging.
