Electricity label
Are you a Coolblue Energy customer? Hooray! You're consuming 100% green energy for renewable sources. The energy we use is generated by solar panels and windmills in the Netherlands.
Gas label
With CO2-compensated gas, we compensate the emission of the consumption by supporting projects that reduce CO2 emission. There's a small surcharge on every cubic meter of gas we consume to invest in forest protection projects in South America. As a trade-off, we receive Carbon Credits that are equal to the amount of CO2 the consumed gas emits. The forest protection projects we invest in are VCS (Verified Carbon Standard) and REDD (Reducing Emissions from Deforestation and Forest degradation) certified.
