After the installation of a charging station, you get a Coolblue Charge Card. This card works like a key and you can only use it for your own charging station. The Coolblue Charge Card doesn't work with other public charging stations. Want an extra card or lost your card? You can easily order this via the Coolblue website and register the card with your Coolblue account via the link below.

Have a charge card from a different supplier? We call this guest charging. You can charge your car at your own and external charging stations. For each charging session, you pay a fixed starting and charging rate plus transaction costs.

Business charging without extra costs

Want to charge at home or on the go and pay for this charging session automatically without extra costs? Use a charge card from MultiTankcard or Travelcard. This way, you don't have to pay a starting rate or extra costs from Coolblue Energy. In addition, you can set the charging rate. Give us your ANWB, NL-MTC, NL-MTE, or NL-TCE card number for that. If you don't, the session automatically falls under guest charging.

Which charge cards can I register at Coolblue Energy?

You can register all charge cards with us. It then falls under guest charging. That means you pay extra for each charging session. Want to set your own rates? We accept these 2 cards: MultiTankcard (all cards that start with the codes 'MTC' and 'MTE'), Travelcard (all cards that start with the code 'TCE') and ANWB. Note: we don't accept New Motion cards from MultiTankcard. You can register your card via our registration form.

What's the difference between business and guest charging?

All charge cards that aren't from Coolblue Energy and aren't registered with us fall under guest charging. You then pay a fixed starting and charging rate when you charge at a public charging station. You also pay transaction costs for each charging session. Have an ANWB, MultiTankcard (MTC, MTE), or a Travelcard (TCE)? You can use these for business charging at Coolblue, so you can automatically settle your charging costs. You can also set your own charging rate.

How can I settle my business costs?

Have an ANWB, MultiTankcard (MTC, MTE) or Travelcard (TCE)? Register for a business charging station pack and register your card with us via the form. We'll do the rest for you.

Why can't I settle my business costs right away on the installation day?

Want to business charge? That's only possible to request this after we've installed your charging station. That's because we need the charging station number and debtor number. This information is unknown until the installation. You can request this information from us after the installation day or find it on your monthly invoice.

Do I get a card with my BlueBuilt charging station?

You get a Coolblue Charge Card after installation. This card works like a key that unlocks the charging station and charges your car. You can't use this card for public charging stations or to settle business costs.

How much does it cost to charge my car?

To charge your electric car at home, you pay the kilowatt-hour price (kWh). This price differs per supplier and contract type. The average rate is about € 0.40 per kWh. Did you charge 50kW? That totals to € 20.

With a Coolblue Charge Card, you can unlock the charging station at home so you can charge your car. You can add multiple Charge Cards to your account. This is useful if you want a spare Charge Card or if your neighbors charge their car at your charging station.
