A solid e-reader for an affordable price

Bought this to replace an 8 year old pocketbook e-reader. It is a solid e-reader, easy to read in the dark and in full sunshine. Font and size are easy to adjust. The battery also lasts a long time.

Excellent e-reader

  • The click of the page turn is very audible

Good reader for the money. I chose it because in principle I did not want the Kobo or the Kindle, which are linked in terms of format to one online store. I am really satisfied with it, but there are some down-sides: it responds slowly, and the touch screen does not respond consistently. Sometimes my page shifts or I get a settings screen, while as far as I know I have not touched the screen, and when I actually want to call up a screen or make a choice, sometimes it does not respond. The click of the page button is present. And because the touch screen does not respond well, you are dependent on that button. Not that my partner sits upright in bed at night, but why that click in the first place?
