What's Windows Autopilot?
Windows Autopilot is a Microsoft Cloud service, which makes sure devices can be shipped to users right away. Many organizations use a Windows image with all the software, which is enrolled on all devices. The devices first have to go to IT professionals for this. That's no longer necessary with Windows Autopilot, because you don't need to install everything again. Autopilot activates the MDM software, like Microsoft Intune. All apps and settings are set up via Autopilot as 1 update. The user can start right away if they connect to the network and log in with company information. That saves a lot of time for the IT team.
How does Windows Autopilot work?
- You can order Windows Autopilot via Coolblue Business. We'll make sure that the cloud service is added to your recently ordered devices.
- Create a Windows Autopilot profile. That's where you can determine which steps the end user has and doesn't have to take when they set up the deice. Think of privacy settings and Cortana.
- The end users will receive their laptops and/or desktops at home or at the office. They'll turn on their devices and connect them to the internet. Next, all apps and settings are set up via 1 update.
- The users can get started!
