What is laptop imaging and what can you use it for?
Why consider Laptop Imaging?
An image is a one-time thing. This allows you to get all the laptops within your organization ready for use quickly. You get the following advantages with each laptop:
- You'll always have the right software pre-installed when delivered.
- The laptop is ready to be used by employees right away.
- Manual installation of the software is no longer necessary.
- A one-time setup fee of €150 per image. After this, it's €15 per laptop.
What's laptop imaging?
Laptop imaging basically means that we create an overview of the software that you or your employees use on the laptop, including the settings of Windows and the accompanying programs. It'll make an installation file, so we can install all the necessary software on the new laptop with the push of a button. This is to ensure a laptop can be ready for use upon delivery without the hassle of making it ready for use.
Laptop imaging in practice
When you order a new business laptop via Coolblue Business, indicate that the laptop has to be provided with an image that's made from a previous laptop. If there's no image yet, we'll create one based on your preferences. Next, Coolblue will put the image on the new laptop(s) before they're delivered to you.
