What's DJI Care Refresh?
DJI Care Refresh is a paid, extra service by DJI. It allows you to fly without worries for a year. This service covers damage caused by you as a user. Do you accidentally fly your drone into the water or hit a tree? Your drone will be repaired or replaced up to two times for a fixed fee. The first time, you'll pay a lower fee than the second time. The exact amount depends on the drone model, and you can find it on the product page of DJI Care Refresh.
Note: this service has to be set up within 48 hours after activating your drone.
What's the difference with the warranty?
The main difference between DJI Care Refresh and the standard warranty is that all kinds of defects are covered. This means even damage you caused yourself. The manufacturer's warranty only covers defects the drone already had when you purchased it. Think about mounting or manufacturing errors that cause malfunctioning of your drone. Is this the case, you're entitled to free repairs or a replacement drone. But if you fly your drone into the water or hit a wall with it, the warranty won't cover the damage.
How does DJI Care Refresh work?
You can buy DJI Care Refresh via our website. After, you link this service to your drone via the DJI site. You have to do this within 48 hours of registering your drone. After doing this, any damage to your drone will be covered for a year. If you get damage within that year, your can ship your drone to DJI for free to have it repaired or replaced with a new one. DJI will check your drone and repairs or replaces it. You'll pay a fixed price for the first and second case of damage. In return, you'll receive a repaired or replaced drone.
