The most common errors of Hoover washing machines
Solve Hoover error
If your Hoover machine machine shows one of these errors, you've come to the right place.
- Error code E2: there's a problem with the water supply.
- Error code E3: the washing machine won't drain the water.
- Error code E4: there's too much foam in the drum.
- Error code E7: there's a problem with the door.

Hoover error code E2: no water supply
The display of your Hoover washing machine displays the E2 error code or the LED light flash 2 times. There may be a problem with the water supply.
- Open the valve of the water drain completely.
- Check if the supply hose is straight and isn't kinked.
- Place the drain hose up to 85cm above the ground.
- Clean the drain filter, which you can find at the bottom.
Hoover error code E3: water won't drain
You see the error code E3 or LED lights flashing 3 times. It's possible that there's a problem with the water drain.
- Clean the drain filter at the bottom of the washing machine.
- Check if there's a button or hairclip stuck in there and remove it.
- Make sure the drain hose is straight and isn't kinked.
- Check if the drain hose is clogged and clean it.
Hoover error code E4: too much foam
If you see the error code E4 or the LED lights flash 4 times, there's too much foam or water in the drum.
- Empty the drum and turn on the cleaning program.
- Repeat this program if necessary.
- Note: never too use much detergent or fabric softener.
Hoover error code E7: problem with the door
You see the error code E7 or the LED lights flash 7 times.
- Check if there's laundry stuck between the door and push it into the drum.
- Prevent an overloaded drum and take out some laundry.
- Close the door until you hear it click.
- Is the door locked? Turn off the washing machine and unplug it from the socket.
- After 2 minutes, open the door and restart the program.
Other code
You may see a different error code on the display. Try the following:
- Turn off the washing machine and unplug the connector from the socket.
- Redistribute your laundry in the drum.
- After 2 minutes, turn the washing machine back on.
- Choose a cycle and press 'Start'.
