How do you make your JURA ENA 8 ready for use?

In the video, you can see how you can make your machine ready for use step-by-step. We'll go through these steps with you:

• Step 1. Turn on the machine
• Step 2. Set the water hardness
• Step 3. Set the water filter
• Step 4. Rinse the machine

You need:

• Coffee beans
• Water hardness test strip
• Water filter
• Container with 1L capacity

1. Fill the bean hopper with coffee beans.
2. Put the connector in the socket.
3. Turn on the machine with the button on top of the machine.
4. The machine will ask you to set the correct language.
5. Use the button in the bottom left to click through the options.
6. When you've selected the correct language on the display, confirm you choice with the button next to the correct language

1. After you select the language, you can set the water hardness.
2. Take the water hardness test strip and put it in a glass of water for 2 seconds.
3. After 1 minute, you can see the result.
4. Use the buttons at the top left and right to choose the red bars that match the test strip.
5. Confirm the correct water hardness with the button at the top left.

1. Take the water filter.
2. Assemble the water filter.
3. Take the water tank from the machine and place the water filter in it.
4. Fix the water filter in place from the top.
5. Fill the water tank with water almost completely and place it back in the machine.
6. Put a container of at least 1L under the coffee outlet right away.
7. Water will come out of the machine while it rinses.
8. The rinse stops automatically.

1. The display will show 'empty drip tray'.
2. Take the drip tray and coffee grounds container from the machine.
3. Empty them both and place them back in the machine.
4. Place the container back underneath the coffee outlet.
5. The display will show 'rinse'. Press the button next to it and rinse the machine again.
6. The rinse stops automatically.
7. Remove the container.
8. The JURA ENA 8 is now ready for use.
