- Step 3a: change settings on iPhone
*Step 3b: change settings on Android
Step 1: find the right fit
When you hear uneven volume with your earbuds, the earbuds might not be in your ears correctly. We'll explain the best way to put the earbuds in your ears.
Step 2: clean the earbuds
Do you already put in the earbuds correctly when you listen to music? Clean the earbuds. Regularly use a dry cotton swab to clean the mesh of the speaker and use a soft, dry, and a lint-free cloth. Remove all the dirt and prevent the dirt from going deeper into the earbuds. Keep in mind that you should never clean the earbuds with water or a damp cloth. You can only do that if your earbuds are completely waterproof.
Step 3a: change settings on iPhone
You can adjust the sound balance on both your iPhone and Android smartphone. You can determine how much sound comes out of your left or right earbud yourself. On your iPhone, go to Settings and look for Accessibility. Here, choose the Audio/Visual option. Slide the bar under Balance to the left or right, depending on which earbud has a higher volume.
Step 3b: change settings on Android
On your Android smartphone, you can adjust the balance of your earbuds. So you can determine the sound level coming out of your left or right earbud yourself. Go to Settings on your phone and search for Accessibility. Choose Hearing and adjust the balance.
