It's important to install the latest update on your headphones. A new update can resolve bugs and generally improve the performance. You can download the update via the Sennheiser Smart Control app. In the app, press the cogwheel at the top right and select firmware update.

Does the sound keep crackling? The connection might be instable. Try the tips below for a more stable connection.

  • Turn of all nearby Bluetooth devices.
  • Don't stand too close to devices like fridges and microwaves, because they can influence the wireless Bluetooth signal.
  • Keep your smartphone in your hands or pocket, not in your bag or back pocket.

If this doesn't help, delete the headphones from the pairing list of your smartphone. Go to Settings and look for Bluetooth. You'll see a list with previously connected devices. Look for your Sennheiser headphones and remove it from the list. Go back to step 1 and reconnect the headphones.
