First impression of the B2
I notice that the TV is hanging on the wall right away, even though it comes with a modern-looking and slim stand. The LG OLED B2 has a thin design with a thin bezel. Thanks to this, the image covers most of the screen and you won't have to look at a black border around it.
Wide color gamut and high brightness
The B2 displays realistic colors with a high brightness thanks to the 10-bit panel and the a7 Gen5 processor. I notice this when I watch content of a tropical island. I recognize the different color tones in the jungle, and the blue of the sea pops on the screen. The processor is less powerful than that of better OLED models like the C2 and the G2. These televisions display more vibrant colors and a higher brightness than the B2.
High-contrast images
Each pixel behind the OLED screen of the B2 is individually dimmable. This allows the TV to display truly black images, which allows brighter images to come out better. I notice this right away when I watch a nature documentary. The black of the mountains is really black, while the lava is bright and colorful. This strong contrast is a true addition to the viewing experience.
Good viewing angle
OLED televisions are known for their excellent viewing angle. I notice this when I look at the TV from the corner of the room. The images remain clearly visible and I'm barely bothered by reflections. This is ideal if not everyone can sit right in front of the TV at the same time.
Regular sound
The audio system of the LG OLED B2 is suitable for watching regular TV programs. The TV has 20W power, but no subwoofer. Due to this, I don't hear the bass of the double base when I watch a classical concert. I'd recommend you to buy an external soundbar and possibly a subwoofer for an immersive listening experience.
Screen-filling and organized smart menu
The webOS smart menu of the B2 is a well-organized menu I can easily navigate through. At the bottom of the screen-filling menu, I now see my favorite apps. It's possible to create multiple profiles in the platform. That way, you'll receive personal suggestions and you can keep your favorite content separated from that of your partner.
Convenient remote
The television includes a useful remote. The Magic Remote is very practical, because you can control the TV by pointing at the screen. This function makes the remote a lot more user-friendly, because it allows me to quickly navigate through the smart menu. The remote also feels very comfortable in my hand.

The LG OLED B2 is a complete mid-range OLED TV. With this television, you can enjoy bright and colorful images with a strong contrast. The TV offers a wide viewing angle thanks to the OLED screen, so you won't be bothered by reflections often. The TV has a standard audio system. For an immersive listening experience, I'd recommend an external soundbar. The Magic Remote is a real addition and offers a pleasant experience.
