Everything on the DJI Mavic 3 Classic
DJI Mavic 3 Classic
- The remote has a display, so you can use it without smartphone.
- Thanks to the large 4/3-inch image sensor, you can record sharp images in 5.1K resolution.
- With the large dynamic range, dark shadows and uplights are detailed.
- This drone doesn't have a zoom lens.
C1 label
The DJI Mavic 3 Classic has the C1 label. That means that you can fly in the open A1 category with this drone. You have to follow the basic light Drone pilot course for this. In this category, the following rules apply:
-
Always keep a safe distance from people and roads.
-
Never fly above crowds or people outside your group.
-
Always keep your drone in sight.
Cruise control function
With the Cruise Control function, the Mavic 3 Classic makes it even easier to make long flights. You don't have to continuously press the joysticks when you fly. A flight takes even less effort now. It also reduces the risk of unintentional movements, so you'll have smoother recordings.
Hasselblad camera
The DJI Mavic 3 Classis has a Hasselblad camera with a large 4/3-inch sensor. Thanks to the size of this sensor, you can record detailed videos in 5.1K resolution. In this resolution, you can record at 50 fps. If you record in 4K, you can record at 120 fps. You can slow this footage down for smooth slow-motion recordings. You can take 20-megapixel photos. This way, you can take sharp photos of landscapes from the sky.
46 minutes of flying
You can use the battery of the DJI Mavic 3 series in this Classic version. This way, you'll have a 46-minute flight time in ideal weather conditions. The advantage is that you don't have to land your drone as often to replace the battery. The wind speed resistance is 12m per second, so the drone isn't affected by strong gusts of wind as much a as drones with a lower wind speed resistance. The battery does drain faster when it's very windy.
Large dynamic range
Thanks to the dynamic range, you can take detailed photos in difficult lighting conditions. The camera clearly displays dark shadows and overexposed areas. The difference between the darkest and lightest parts the camera displays is indicated in a number of stops. The dynamic range of the Mavic 3 Classic is 12.8 stops.
360-degree obstacle detection
If you haven't flown with a drone a lot, obstacle detection is a useful function. The drone recognizes objects and it doesn't fly into them. This way, you make sure you don't accidentally fly into a tree, for example. The Magic 3 Classic has obstacle detection sensors at the bottom, top, and sides. Together, they provide a 360-degree detection.
